Stan’s Shoes is part of Midwest Shoe Merchants, a family-owned collection of stores serving the Milwaukee area since 1950. Now in its third generation, Midwest Shoe Merchants is recognized as one of the nation’s top independent footwear retailers, with seven locations across four brands and a thriving national e-commerce business. We proudly provide stylish, comfortable shoes to a diverse range of customers.
Jim Sajdak, son of Stan and Emerence, joined the family business after college and, with his wife Susan, expanded Stan’s to multiple locations. Known for innovation in the footwear industry, Jim remains a leading figure. Jim and Susan’s four children joined the business at various times after college. Today, Andy, David, Megan, and Ben are all owners of Midwest Shoe Merchants. This family-owned business has continued its passion for improving lives from the ground up across generations.
